Train up a child in the way they should go and when they get older they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 NIV.
This means teach a child to make the right decision for themselves and you will not have to watch every step that they take, because you will know that the child will stay on the right path, because the child made the right choice themselves.
Fathers do not provoke your children, instead, bring them in the training and instruction of the Lord, Ephesians 6:4 NIV.
The purpose for parental discipline is to help children grow, not to provoke them to anger or discouragement, this takes a lot of patience, because parenting is not easy. This brings me to a very big issue with our youth these days being diagnosed and medicated. I believe some of the youth are just crying out for attention when love is what they need. Young ladies look to find it in boys and boys look for it in gangs. But love should be right in the home. The teens don't know any better they must be be taught, not by each other or TV or music, but by the parents. Jesus never medicated, He educated and then eradicated.

Pillars of Fire Virtual Church Service was created for those of you who are shut in, currently in the hospital or are looking for a church home. We are using technology to reach those that normally could not be reached all over the world. Hear you there! Live, every Sunday at 12:30p.m.
Virtual Bible Study

Deliverance Services
Here at Pillars of Fire, we strongly believe in the need for deliverance. God is real, the devil is also. Angels are real, the demons are as well. In Ephesians 6:10-18 it very clearly states, that we are in a war and we struggle not with flesh and blood, but against rulers of the darkness of this world, against principalities, against powers and spiritual wickedness in high places. It informs us that we need to put our armor on and daily.
Jesus healed ALL manners of sickness and deseases. He raised the dead, and casted out demons, sometimes thousands at a time, like the man with the Legion. In John 14:12 we learn that those who believe on Him shall not only do what He does, but they shall do greater works, but in order to set the captives free. it is imperative that we are free ourselves.
